Experiment On Your Skin To Find The Best Wrinkle Cream

By Jen Hopkins

The US population is getting older, but we Americans remain obsessed with beauty and youth. While many other cultures honor the aged by celebrating their wisdom and endurance, we in the US devalue our elders and continue to, as one country singer so aptly put it, athrow pennies into the fountain of youth.a

Women are particularly susceptible to worries about again. While signs of aging such as crow's feet or grey hair may sometimes make a man look mature, American society views women's signs of aging as a handicap. As a result, women live dreading old age, and do everything they can to stop aging from progressing.

All sorts of options are available to women, from meditation to acupuncture to cosmetic surgery. New outpatient treatments allow patients to visit a doctoras office and have minor surgery all in one day. Sometimes people can even go back to work the same day! However, many of these measures are painful, inconvenient, time-consuming, or expensive. The most popular solution for aging skin is still the oldestiaa good anti-aging cream.

There is something comforting and satisfying about finding the best wrinkle cream and then slathering it on your skin at night. As soon as it sinks in, it feels like it is working. Your skin feels softer instantly. In the morning, your skin is moister and softer, and the extra moisture in the skin helps fill in the fine lines and crows feet, making them less noticeable.

The hardest part of using the best wrinkle cream is finding the best wrinkle cream. There are many different factors that determine which wrinkle cream is best for you, since different wrinkle creams work better for different women. It is best to experiment with wrinkle creams and take careful notes about your skin's reaction to each one, in order to determine which wrinkle cream is best for you.

A womanas skin type is the most important factor in determining which is the best wrinkle cream for her. Dry skins tend to drink in the moisture from heavier creams, while oily skins can be overwhelmed by creams and need a lighter lotion.

If your skin is sensitive, check your ingredients carefully. Sensitive skin will sometimes react badly to fragrance, color or irritants that commonly appear cosmetics. Be careful, because products can say they are non-irritating, possibly non-comedogenic or even hypo-allergenic and they may still irritate and break out your skin. Every woman is different, and it takes a little bit of trial and error to find the cream that is just right for you.

Price will not tell you anything about whether a product will work for you or not. There are many drugstore generic products that work just as well or better than brand-name creams at the cosmetic counter. Likewise, you need to be just as vigilant with trial-and-error with expensive brands as you do with drugstore products. After all is said and done, what gives a product value is that it works, not the claims it makes.
