Small town brawl!

It was a quite day in a small Bar in upstate New York . The girl working behind the bar was young, she had just turned 18 and had only been bar tending a few weeks, this was her first time working alone. Everything was going fine with only two of the regulars in the back shooting pool it was nothing she could not handle she thought to herself.

Then the front door opened and in walked ten of the biggest men she had ever seen. They talked loudly and as they walked over to the far side of the bar, She got a look at the back of their jackets. She could easily see that the markings on them where all the same. The men ordered pitchers of beer and their talking only got louder as they drank more and talked about things she did not understand. Then the men went quite as the front door opened and in walked seven more large men, at first she thought these seven men where with the first Ten as they looked and dressed similar but as she looked at the markings on the backs of these new comers Jackets she could tell while they where similar the markings where different, By the way the two groups where looking at each other she guessed the difference must mean a lot to them.

The Seven men sat up toward the front of the bar and also ordered pitchers of beer. The young girl did her best to make sure both groups where kept happy, but it was just a matter of time and Beer! When one of the men from the first group called out to her, "Hey Honey don't worry about those guys, there losers! Come over here and hang with some real men." That was all it took, the fuse was lit. "Who you calling losers pal we are good enough to beat you any day of the week!" Yelled back a guy from the second group. "You may think your as good as us but you never will be!" Yelled back a man from the first group.

Then in what was a blur to our young barmaid a fight broke out between the two groups it was loud and she could hear glass and wood breaking all around her as the men cursed and screamed at each other. This young Girl was scared and she feared for her life.

Her fear abated a little when in the distance she heard sirens. The police are coming, she thought to herself as she hid behind the bar. The police arrived in force and they stormed in arresting the men and taking them away. When things got quite and all the men where taken away the young girl looked around the small bar. So much damage she thought to herself, She looked at one of the officers and asked how did you know to come here. We got a call that these two groups where both heading to this bar and we just knew, it happens all the time with these type of guys!!!

Epilogue: The next morning when the young barmaid awoke she walked down stairs to the kitchen where her father was reading the morning paper. Does it say anything about the fight in the bar yesterday she asked her father? Yes he said as he pointed to a small article in the back of the paper "Yankees and Mets fans Brawl it out in small town bar" the story went on to explain how all the men where given tickets for disorderly conduct and released. That's it she screamed at her father these men trash the bar, scare the hell out of me, They should all be in jail and all they get is Tickets!!! Calm down sweetheart her father said as he hugged her, The way your acting one would think it had been a bunch of rowdy Bikers in the bar yesterday! Those Guys would have been locked away, But it was only Sports fans!

In this articles I'm going to tell you about J signs Vehicle Wraps! The Wraps are done in House at J Signs by Duncan Weir owner of Graphic Gorilla! Robben Island Tour: Enjoy a Unique South African Cultural Safari

In the recent past, Robben Island has undergone a great change from a place for banishment and imprisonment, to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated 12 km from Cape Town in the West Cape Province, the island was for more than three centuries used by rulers as an incarceration center for political prisoners. Many political and human rights activists were brought here in an attempt to thwart their quest for freedom.

Robben Island was also previously used as a military base during the second world war (1939-1945), and as a hospital center for people with diseases that require isolation e.g. lepers, the chronically ill and other outcasts (1846-1931).

Though Robben Island has existed for long, it gained international fame in the late 20th century, during the apartheid era. The apartheid years saw the imprisonment of such South Africa freedom fighters as Nelson Mandela, and Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe (a founding leader of Pan Africanist Congress). Mandela was in this 6 sq km island for 27 years while serving a life imprisonment sentence passed on him in 1963.

Political prisoners in Robben Island were often jailed together with common-law prisoners, and the only contact they had with the outside world was limited to two letters a year. After the release of Nelson Mandela in 1990, the remaining political detainees were set free in 1991. In 1996, the common law prisoners were also transferred to the South Africa mainland.

In 1997, the island was changed into a museum, the Robben Island Museum, which is today a cornerstone of South Africa's heritage. By running educational programs for schools and other visitors, and facilitating more research about the island, the museum promotes tourism development and archives South Africa historical information. In 1999, UNESCO declared Robben Island as a World Heritage Site.

In addition to Robben Island, South Africa boasts seven other world heritage sites. These include Sterkfontein, Swartkrans, Kromdraai and surroundings that yielded the famous Taung Skull Fossil ? from the hominid Austalopithecus africanus ? in 1924. The area is often called the ?cradle of humanity?. The elevation of the Robben Island to a world heritage site status, according to UNESCO, symbolizes the triumph of the human spirit, of freedom, and of democracy over oppression.

Apart from the Museum, other attractions in Robben Island are the breeding colonies of bank cormorants, crowned cormorants and Hartlaub's gulls. The island also hosts approximately 5 percent of the global population of African black oystercatchers.

Robben Island Museum is reached via ferries. All ferries depart from Nelson Mandela Gateway, at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Once on the Island, visitors are shown around the former prison whose tours depicts the lives of political prisoners detained from 1960?s to 1990. Former Robben Island prisoners conduct the prison tours. Ferries depart from Nelson Mandela Gateway daily at 9am, 10am, 12pm, 1pm and 3pm. The standard tour to Robben Island is three and a half hours long, including the two half-hour ferry rides.

Motorcycle Club Mentality Versus The Biker Gang Mentality

I want to talk a little about the Brotherhood mentality versus the gang mentality in the Motorcycle Club world . Now for those of you who may be asking what is the difference? I will set up a scene to help give you an idea! At a small Bar a member of a Motorcycle Club walks in he sees four Bikers playing pool, He can tell they are a bit nervous, They see his patches and they know who he is with. Now how does he act? Does he walk over to the pool table knock the 8 ball in the pocket say games over and tell one of them to buy him a beer? Or does he walk over introduce himself and let them know when they are done shooting pool they are welcome to stop over at the bar have a beer and talk with him! One is the gang way of thinking the other is the Brotherhood way of thinking! I really don't think I need to tell you which is which!

Now one thing everyone needs to remember is all of the original Motorcycle Clubs Started out with the idea of being a tight nit group of Brothers and just about all of these Motorcycle Clubs got along. Don't forget many of the men who started the first MCs where returning home after serving their country during times of war. They were looking for that feeling of Brotherhood here at home that they had been left behind. These were good men seeking adventure, looking to ride their Motorcycles and have a good time with others like themselves. Today most Motorcycle Clubs have gone back to that way of Club thinking, There are very few Clubs left that still have the Gang Mentality that was seen mostly during the 70's threw 90's. During the late 90's things had just gotten too far out of hand and most Motorcycle Clubs began to realize the Gang Mentality was not the way it was meant to be and it was not the way they wanted it to be anymore, This was not what the Clubs were started for ! Many Clubs who had been friends were now fighting with each other. No one wanted to wear club support gear and things were just not fun anymore. These MC's had all started their Clubs with the same ideals and ways of thinking, How and why had they grown so far apart that they now hated each other!

Well the answer to how is during the 50's and 60's the golden age of the Brotherhood years of Motorcycling, The Motorcycle Clubs were really huge. During this great time many of the Biker Movies that came out showed Motorcycle Club Members as Bullies and Thugs. The Bikers in these movies would pick on those weaker then them, take over small towns and the Clubs in these Movies all fought each other just like the street gangs of the time! So of course over time many new Bikers came to believe that this was the way it was. So when New Clubs started this was how they would act and the Original Motorcycle Clubs now had members who where young kids looking to prove how tough they were by starting fights with each other. The Original Motorcycle Club Members had been threw real wars together and they were as hard as nails and had nothing to prove to no one! But many younger members felt that they had something to prove and would imitate the Biker Clubs from the Movies they had scene and soon it was Biker against Biker, Brother against Brother, MC against MC. Thus began the Dark age of the Motorcycle Gang Mentality years.

Now for the question Why did this Happen? Well When something Changes the way of thinking and being of Groups like the Motorcycle Clubs so far from their original ideals, You have to ask was it just an accident these movies did this? Or was there more to it? Was there a plan behind it? Is there someone or some group out there that would benefit from having these large groups of Motorcycle Clubs who are run in a very military fashion and are made up of many ex-Military Members fighting against each other? If these Clubs all got along and worked together the world could be a very Different place! The Motorcycle world certainly would be! Are there people out there who are afraid of this happening?

Today there are very few Clubs left that have the Gang Mentality. Most have gone back to the Brotherhood way and the word Gang in the Motorcycle Club world has become almost the equivalent of a racial slur. Now as Motorcycle Clubs are beginning to go back to the way it was at the start and trying to put the past behind them, I am noticing that there are more and more Biker movies and TV shows Coming out. Will these shows show MC's in a good way? Will they go out of their way to stir up the quarrels of the past? Will they show us as mindless Bullies much as the Movie Wild Hogs did? Most Important will we let them influence how we really are? Or have we learned from our past? If all continues to go well we could soon be making our way into the Second Golden age of Motorcycle Club Brotherhood back to where it all Started !!!

Weight loss is a constant battle for most of us. We jump from diet to diet and program to program hoping to find the right solution for our weight issue. Whether trying to lose five pounds or fifty, there are three key steps most people leave out of their weight loss plans: prioritization, commitment, and focus. With these three steps, weight loss odds can go up dramatically.

1. Prioritize

Before joining a gym or enrolling in a weight loss program, take an honest inventory of your priorities. If you're a busy person with a family and demanding career like me, there are only so many priorities you can manage adequately. Where does weight management fall in your list? If it's not in your top three or four priorities, are you willing to move it higher toward the top of the list? If not, you probably won't have much success, because weight loss takes work, and work takes time! The only way to get rid of extra pounds is to make weight loss a top priority. List your priorities. If weight loss is in the top five, you stand a good chance of down-sizing.

2. Make a Commitment

Now that weight loss is a priority, are you ready to commit to losing weight - and keeping it off? If so, tell a few key people in your life. Make it public. If those around you know you're committed to losing weight, several things will happen. First, they'll talk with you about your progress. They'll also be able to support your efforts. They'll know, for example, that since you're seriously committed to losing weight, giving you your favorite chocolate as a birthday present isn't the way to go. Finally, by telling your family and friends about your commitment to losing weight, you just might gain a few supporters who want to join in your endeavor. Make a commitment and go public with it.

3. Maintain laser-like focus

It's critical that you maintain laser-like focus while you're working toward losing weight. The moment you don't, your progress may begin to slide. Focus is crucial, because it helps remind you of your commitment to managing your weight and being healthy. Give yourself some physical reminders to help maintain focus. Put a picture or note on your refrigerator, your cell phone, your computer, and in your car. When you're focused, you're much less likely to eat junk food and skip exercising, and much more likely to eat healthy and find time for a quick jog. Make weight loss a focal point in your life, and you'll be happier with the results.

What Is It Like To Withdraw From Alcohol?

Many people can detoxify their body from alcohol quite safely at home. Ending a Relationship with Honesty and Civility

Okay, while ending a relationship is hardly at the top of anybodys daily calendar, the fact is that when a relationship has gone sour, someone has to make the move to end it. The truth is that many relationships last long beyond the expire by date just because breaking up is hard to do.

Sometimes break ups occur simply because the relationship has petered out to the point neither one even cares. Sometimes they end in dramatic fashion with some great flash of anger and clothing being thrown out of a second story window. Neither is dignified nor civil. If you want to end the relationship, do it with honesty and dignity. Take steps so that neither party is hurt badly.

Have it clear in your mind that this is what you want. The immediate reason you think you want to end the relationship may not be the real reason, it might just be a symptom. Give it much concentrated thought and you will isolate the real reasons. Then you must be honest. When you talk to your partner you must be honest to them and to you.

Unless you are in a long distance relationship, schedule time to be together to have this discussion. If long distance does separate you and you can't get together in the near future, this may have to be done on the phone. It is better sooner than to postpone it. This discussion should be respectful and you should dignify your partner by having it in person whenever possible. It should never be in an e-mail or a text message. Not only would that be undignified, it would be cruel.

Be empathetic. This is a difficult conversation for both parties. If you want to remain friends, fine, but it has to be with the proviso all romantic ties are over. Don't put your partner on defense; be compassionate. Tell them you have learned much and will cherish memories you share. You need to "be there" during this talk because you want to compassionately respond to them if they become very emotional.

Dont take anything personally when ending a relationship. Your partner may say things they dont really mean. Let these words roll off of your back. Your partner may need to meet with you more than once to conclude the relationship. Or, they may need space. Give your ex what they need to get through the transition time.

Making you feel guilty may become the aim of your ex, but avoid this feeling. You are about to start a new chapter in your life and it no longer includes a romantic relationship with your ex. It is good to maintain a positive relationship of some sort, but if you ended the relationship for honest reasons, it is in both your best interests.

Will you ever get back together. Only the two of you can decide. Most relationships can be saved but both parties have to work at it, and conditions must be met. If you are both willing to do the work necessary to repair the relationship, you will become a stronger couple. But if the break up is final, honesty, civility and dignity require that you both walk away and move on.
