Cure Internal Hemorrhoids

By Heather-Jane Hunter

Internal Hemorrhoids are swollen or inflammed veins in the walls of the anal canal. They range in size from about the size of a small finger nail up to the size of a golf ball (in extreme cases).

Internal hemorrhoids sometimes result in debilitating pain, most notably while passing stools or sitting down. They are most commonly identified by seeing bright red blood in or on the stool or toilet paper.

While medical experts dont know for certain what the root causes of hemorrhoids are, a number of contributing factors are known, the most important of which are discussed below.

Constipation: People who suffer from constipation for extended periods of time are at relatively high risk of internal hemorrhoids. Excessive and unnatural straining in order to pass the stool can cause damage to the veins and the internal anal passage.

Hard Stools contribute to internal hemorrhoids: Unnaturally hard stools which are difficult to pass through the anal canal cause pain and can cause sufficient damage to cause internal hemorrhoids. Ensuring a high intake of foods such as vegetables, fruits and cereals whill help soften stools.

Pregnancy: Increased blood pressure and blood volume (in the varicose veins) while pregnant causes 20% of all pregnant women to suffer from hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids can also occur as a result of massive pressure on veins in the anal canal while giving birth.

Lifting heavy objects: People (such as those who workout in gyms) are more likely to suffer from hemorrhoids as they are placing high pressure on their veins each time they lift heavy weights or objects. Squats and Leg Presses are probably the most risky exercises to perform due to the close proximity of the muscle group being worked to the veins in the anal canal.

Prolonged Diarrhea: Diarrhea (when suffered for extended periods of time) can definitely agravate hemorrhoids and sometimes contribute to causing hemorrhoids. People who suffer from diarrhea should seek medical help if it sticks around for more than 48 hours.

A raft of treatment methods exist for curing internal hemorrhoids. Which one is right for you depends on several factors such as how severe the hemorrhoids are, how quickly you want a cure, recovery time, cost and convenience.

One hemorrhoids cure is surgical removal of the hemorrhoids. This is an expensive option (some procedures start at US$1200) and the recovery time needed after surgery is usually much more than other techniques. Surgical removal of hemorrhoids doesnt guarantee long term safety from hemorrhoids. They may return to haunt you at a later date. Surgical removal of hemorrhoids should be kept as a last resort.

While creams, gels, and lotions work for some hemorrhoid sufferers, for others they have gone the other way and in fact worsened the condition. In many cases people complain of side effects such as burning sensations after applying the cream. Creams can also be inconvenient to apply, especially in the case of internal hemorrhoids (most creams or gels need to be applied 3-4 times daily).

Natural remedies are fast becoming recognized as a leading method to cure hemorrhoids. Being natural, they work with your body which means no side effects are noticed, and the work to cure the root cause of hemorrhoids instead of simply focusing on the symptoms of hemorrhoids. One product in particular which is known as H-Miracle has been credited with curing many thousands of hemorrhoid sufferers.
