Buying Hotel rooms at Their Cheapest Rates

By Chris Linch

When traveling from one place to another you want to get the best that is offered in your destination. This always includes getting the best in hotels and lodging. As a person who is seeking a good trip and relaxation there are a few things to consider: price, how clean the property is, the accessibility and comfort.

Most people think that a nice luxury type property is not going to be in their price range. The fact is if you know where to find them, you can get a real deal on some of the nicest properties in any state.

A very simple example is Las Vegas. I have seen five star properties on the strip for about thirty bucks a night. If you can't find that kind of deal you can always stay a little ways off the strip and save a ton. The key is hotels that are night right on an attractions property will work hard to get you to the attractions. This puts them in competition with the attraction's own hotels.

The Disney parks are a perfect example. The actual hotels located on the resort are usually high cost. You can stay just a few miles away from the parks though at a hotel and get a much better rate. Most of the hotels still have a shuttle or some form of transportation to the park because that is really what attracts their business, however their price is usually half of the resorts.

I would say the best way that I know of to save money is to book early and find a discount hotel website. These websites usually guarantee they have the lowest price, so if you find something out there that is cheaper, you can simply call the customer service line and they will match it. I say shop around very little, find a rate that you like, book it then keep shopping. If the rate drops let the service know.

Make sure you read reviews of hotels and such when trying to save money. There is nothing worse than saving money and sleeping with bedbugs. When you are shopping find a decent property at a decent price, remember if the price is too good to be true, it probably is.
