I was in a tea shop in Houston called The Path of Tea. Its a great little tea shop, all organic Japanese style, that just has a beautifully peaceful energy to it.<br />
<br />
I was in there one day getting a frozen tea and my friend, Thia (the owner), was checking out one of her customers. Shed gotten a nice frozen tea as well and was checking out.<br />
<br />
And this lady, I looked at her and she just seemed to glow.<br />
<br />
You know, one of those people that just seem to get it. You look at them and theyve got a sparkle in their eye, theyve got a smile in their heart. And you can just tell that smiles radiating out from their body. And you just know that theyre tapped in. You know that theyre connected.<br />
<br />
And after the transaction had been rung up and the glowing lady had her change, Thia smiled sweetly as she always does and said, Now you have a nice day.<br />
<br />
And this lady looked at Thia very confidently, smiled, kind of cocked her head a little bit and she smiled a knowing smile. She said, I make it my business to have a good day, every day.<br />
<br />
My jaw dropped open. A bolt of lightening hit me right between the eyes and I just thought Wow. I like that. What an empowering statement. <br />
<br />
Imagine knowing you have 100 percent responsibility over your creative power. You just make that declaration. <br />
<br />
I make it my business to have a good day, every day.<br />
<br />
That means its something youre observing. Youre making sure that you have a good day, every day. And youre doing the inspired things that will allow you to do that. <br />
<br />
Youre clearing yourself for the harmonic thought to come to you and allow you to have those good days every day.<br />
<br />
It starts with simple statements like that. Simple statements of I will do this. This is the way it is. Those self empowering statements are so very important.<br />
<br />
We run self defeating statements through our mind all the time. Thats how we get all screwed up, and then we sit and wonder whats happening to us. We let the self-defeating statements get over the top of us and gain momentum.<br />
<br />
And in reality, the self affirming, the self empowering statements are so much more powerful once you get used to using them. <br />
<br />
Because once you get used to using them, youll realize the power over the negative side. And youll realize what youve done to yourself over the years.<br />
<br />
In the subtle little ways youve just chipped away at your ability to have a connection to your divinity, to your source energy.<br />
<br />
And that lady being able to make that statement I make it my business to have a good day every day, she sets herself in that vibration every day. <br />
<br />
The confidence with which she said that is ingrained into her daily mode of operation. Its the way she operates. And thats when you start making some very transformational leaps in what ever direction you want to go. <br />
<br />
When you can make an emboldening statement like that about yourself, thats when you know that youre clicking, that youre flowing, that you're connected to inspired thought, to harmonic thought. <br />
<br />
