Sores or ulcers which bleed and even release pus can develop without some preventative measures. Angular cheilitis is not harmful but it may give you a lot of discomfort, and embarrassment. How to Heal It Angular cheilitis can be treated or prevented in a number of ways depending on the cause of the problem. Avoid irritating the lips by constant lip licking or lip biting will help prevent. Using lip balm with UV protection when out in the sun or cold is also very important.
