Where to Eat on a Date in Orlando

By Christopher Linch

I typically enjoy casual dining where I don't have to look fantastic. I do feel though that sometimes it is fun to go out to someplace fancy and have a good night. Most people think of Orlando as a place for kids with Theme and Water parks, but there are also some fantastic places to eat. I will tell you about three of my most treasured restaurants in Orlando.

The first is the Venetian Room. It is located at 8101 World Center Drive. This is a place to go to impress or date or spouse. This is one of the most elegant places to eat in Orlando. The chef that is on staff was trained in Northern Africa and in Europe. He has also worked at restaurants like Emeril's and Shula's. They have a European inspired menu and a high class elegant atmosphere. They have very good food and wine, even if you really are particular. They also have world class service.

My second pick is Christini's Ristorante. This is located on Dr. Phillips Boulevard. It is another wonderful dining experience that you have to try. The service is top notch and the food is outstanding! The building features sculptures and art from Italy. The menu is filled with classic food and old time specialties. They also have a nice list of wine. This would be a great restaurant to go to and pop the question, and should rank among your favorites!

My third choice is the restaurant called Antonio's Ristorante. This one is located in the Fountains Plaza. They are overlooking the Florentine fountain. You will be treated like you are someone special here. The decor is beautiful. They have wood floors, vaulted ceilings and a view of the Florentine fountain. The kitchen is open so you can see them cooking. It is a taste of Tuscany. It is a five star restaurant with wood burning ovens making Italian food. They also have 250 wines on the list.

The next time you are in Orlando I recommend that you give one of these fancy places a try. Have an elegant meal right in the heart of central Florida.
