There are three treatments that I prefer for hemorrhoids. I have used two of them and I have witnessed the unfortunate results of the third treatment.<br />

The first choice is the stuff you already know about, ointments and suppositories like preparation H.<br />

Although they don't actually get rid of hemorrhoids they do have some advantages. (From my own experience the suppository has always worked a lot better than the ointment, even for external hemorrhoids. This is because there are probably internal hemorrhoids as well, and you need to treat them as well to have relief.) The biggest advantage of using these methods is the ease of it, a bit unpleasant but no thinking required, just pop off to the drug stores and you are set.<br />

Unfortunately, I experienced some side effects from the product, including high blood pressure, that forced me to search for alternative therapies. Generally, using a chemical treatment for illnesses or diseases can have repercussions. Furthermore, the product didn't cure my hemorrhoids, it just alleviated them for a time. Finally, you cannot use the product if your hemorrhoids are currently bleeding.<br />
<br />
The other option is undergo surgery to remove your hemorrhoids.<br />
<br />
A doctor suggest I do this, but I didn't go through with it. My father had previously had the operation and he was in indescribable pain for days. Here is how he described it: "Like hooks tearing into my butt". After his experience, I made every effort to avoid surgery and so should you. It just isn't necessary.<br />

The final way is a natural hemorrhoid treatment.<br />

Its using what nature has provided as a cure, something i previously may have raised an eyebrow to, but i now know better. Here are a couple of the advantages: They are potent, i was seriously surprised. They work fast and they actually get rid of hemroids....and they cost a lot less than any medication.<br />

The downside is that researching which natural treatments are really effective can take some time. I advise you to locate reliable information resources and thoroughly check all of your research.</div><div class='uawresource'><div style='font-style:italic;' class='uawabout'><br />
