Why will the slide projector not switch on? Slide projector systems often have "two-way" switching with switches front and back. Sometimes there is a switch adjacent to the mains socket that also needs to be "on". Elmo slide projectors have two switches on the top towards the rear of the projector. One is for the fan and the other for the lamp. These both need to be in the "on" position.
